“Well done is better than well said.”
-Benjamin Franklin
We believe that human life is precious, and we believe in protecting that life. However, the validity of our beliefs and the strength of our arguments are meaningless if we are unwilling back them up with actions. We believe that our nation’s laws regarding abortion violate the sanctity of human life, but what are we willing to do to fight against it? More importantly, how are we going to demonstrate Christ’s love and compassion to women facing one of the most intimidating and life-altering situations they will ever encounter? How do we lovingly advocate for life with one who feels that abortion is the only escape from a hopeless situation?
Antioch West is proud to partner with the Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center in their mission of communicating Christ’s love to women facing difficult pregnancy decisions. They provide life-affirming services that uphold biblical standards for sexual integrity while offering non-judgmental care to preserve and protect human life. They strive to help their clients find hope in what seems like hopeless situations.
Each year we support their ministry by participating in the “Baby Bottle Campaign”. Like most areas of our lives today, the current covid-19 season is affecting the way we are able to participate in this fund-raiser, but Hannah PRC is offering a virtual option for giving our support. Here is a short video that explains this campaign.
This ministry still needs our support. We cannot all personally sit with these ladies and extend Christ’s grace to them, but we can come alongside those who do. We partner with this ministry both in our prayers and with our financial gifts. They depend on both to aide them in their mission.
We are participating in this campaign through Father’s Day. You can give directly to Hannah PRC by following this link. Once you are on their donations page, choose the fund: BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN. You can indicate that you are part of our church by typing Antioch West Baptist Church in the NOTE section.
You can also give through the church in any worship service or by mailing a check to Antioch West Baptist Church, C/O Treasurer Arlis Palmer, PO Box 1049, Magnolia, AR 71754. Make sure to mark “Hannah” in the memo line on your check.
